June has become a whole new person in just two months!
In month 5, she started to become much more independent and able to entertain herself. She was finally big enough to play in her activity center and sit in her bumbo and play with toys. She laughed, smiled, and chatted more. Her personality is really starting to come out. Her hair is starting to grow in thicker. The thing I loved most this month, though, was that she started blowing raspberries when we would blow raspberries at her.
Junie also started daycare in January and seems to love it. She adores her teachers and makes hand and footprint masterpieces for our fridge.
During month 6, June made some huge developments. She discovered those feet and has now made it her goal to get a whole foot in her mouth. She started responding to her name and sitting up on her own. She used those sitting skills to sit up in the bathtub and sit in a highchair for the first time at dinner. She's becoming so fun!
At her 6 month appointment, she was 25.1 inches long, weighed 15.2 lbs, and still had a big ol' head (96%ile).
